An intelligent heart acquires knowledge, and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge.

Adult Bible Study

St Paul's Adult education centers upon study of the Bible.  We meet each Sunday in the Guild Room after breakfast and utilize the lectionary verses as our topic of discussion and study. On All Saints Days or special liturgical events we discuss the lectionary associated with that calendar event or of the Saint being celebrated.

All Adults are invited. Check the calendar for updates and schedules.

Sunday School & Nursery

Children are welcome in all of our services.  We believe that worship is enriched by their presence and participation.Young people have opportunities such as being an acolyte and lector during the service. We have children’s activity bags for any child attending the service. They are located at the front and back entrances of the sanctuary. Nursery care is also available for children six years and younger, upstairs from 10:15am-12:30 p.m. every Sunday.

Sunday School classes for children age one and older are held upstairs from 9:45-10:15am every Sunday. Currently, we have two groups of children; preschool (includes Kindergarten) and school age (typically 1st-6th grade). Children in each group focus on Bible study, singing, prayer, games, activities, and crafts. The preschool group follows the major stories in the old and new testament using The Beginner’s Bible by Zondervan. On special lectionary Sunday’s, the lesson focuses on that particular Gospel. The school age group follows the Sunday lectionary readings, learning more about the meaning behind each story, so that when they are in service, they are able to understand and recall the meaning during the lesson readings and homily.

Other activities that our children participate in are quarterly, one-day Vacation Bible School (VBS) events, Children’s Choir, Easter and Christmas Pageants, and our annual Easter Egg Hunt.  Our Children’s choir takes place during Sunday School and performs two to three times a year during the 10:30am service and at the Christmas Eve Family service.
